An injection-molded plastic kit of the British AEC Matador vehicle in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The model is supplied unassembled and is meant to be glued and painted; depending on the edition the set holds additional detail and markings for more than one vehicle.
The AEC Matador was a British heavy truck and artillery tractor with all-wheel drive (4x4), built by the Associated Equipment Company. It was powered by a diesel engine, and the vehicle was used to tow medium guns and to carry their crews and ammunition. It served with British and Allied units on a number of battlefields of the Second World War.
Start with the chassis, the engine and the drivetrain, then assemble the cab and the body. Glue the plastic with thin cement, apply primer and lay the shade and the markings on with an airbrush. Bring the wooden and canvas parts to life with glazes and finish the surface with washes and pigments for dust and mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
