A set of figures of American infantry of the First World War in 1:35 scale. The figures are to be assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The nickname doughboys was carried by the American infantrymen who left to fight in France after the United States entered the First World War. They went into the trenches in the second half of the war, when the Western Front had already come to a standstill, and their recognition marks were a shallow steel helmet of the British pattern, canvas belts and the field gear they carried. It is in exactly this form that American infantry is most often depicted on dioramas.
The set of figures in 1:35 scale is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The number of figures, their poses and the extent of the gear and armament are given by the instructions or by the illustration on the packaging. The figures will complement a diorama on a trench theme as well as a display case where equipment would otherwise stand on its own with no crews and no gunners.
The set is intended for modelers who are building a diorama from the First World War and for collectors of figures in 1:35 scale. Paints, glue, filler and a base are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
