A set of replacement tracks in white metal for building a model of the French Char B1 bis heavy tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory: the individual metal links are threaded onto wire and create a workable track that will replace the rubber or plastic tracks from the original kit.
The Char B1 bis was a French heavy tank of the beginning of the Second World War with tracks running around the whole perimeter of the hull, a hull-mounted 75 mm gun and a turret with a 47 mm gun. For its day it had strong armor and ranked among the best-protected tanks of 1940.
Clean the links up and join them with wire; on this tank the track around the perimeter of the hull is clearly visible, so metal links raise the realism markedly. Apply a primer to the metal, then a multicolored camouflage scheme and a patina with dust and mud.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
