About product

AH-64 Apache early pylons 1:35 (Reskit)

The set brings a pair of early pylons for a model of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in 1:35 scale. The parts are produced by 3D printing from quality resin and offer finer detail than the usual injection-molded parts from the box. This is not a helicopter kit but an accessory for a more demanding build.

The real subject

The AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter for destroying armored vehicles and ground targets. On its stub wing pylons it carries guided missiles, unguided rockets and gun armament. The early version of the pylons corresponds to machines of the earlier production batches, so it suits a faithful reconstruction of older versions of the machine.

Building and painting tips

First wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting, then a flat finish with an airbrush, and bring out the details with a wash and pigments.

Who the set is for

  • For modelers building early versions of the AH-64 Apache in 1:35 scale
  • For more advanced builders used to working with resin
  • For collectors of finely detailed helicopter models

The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.

FAQ

The early pylons correspond to the earlier production batches of the machine, so they suit a faithful build of older versions of the AH-64 Apache.

No, it is an add-on detail set. You need the base model in 1:35 scale separately.

These are 3D-printed resin parts, which are glued with cyanoacrylate glue and suit more experienced modelers.
