The paper set British propaganda posters 1:35 from the brand Royal Model for scenes from the island home front.

This paper set from the brand Royal Model brings into scale the appeals with which the British authorities addressed the population during the Second World War. The sheet is a finished print; the modeler only chooses a motif, cuts it out and places it in a scene. Nothing is glued together from parts and nothing is bent.
While American graphics relied on color and pathos, on the islands a spare humor and clear typography predominated. Campaigns arose here urging people to grow vegetables on every spare plot, to save fuel and to be careful in talking about military matters; some of those appeals became so proverbial that they are quoted to this day. Most came out of a single Ministry of Information, which gave the whole output a recognizable unity.
A British notice instantly establishes an island setting and the home front. It looks good on a brick wall beside an air-raid shelter, on the fence of a stop or on the door of a shop with its shutter down. In a scene with the landings it can be used in a port rear area as well, from where the units sailed. It works well to place one motif lower than the others, at the eye level of a passing pedestrian; such a small thing gives a scene scale.
The sheet is intended for work by hand; the manufacturer encloses neither tools nor an adhesive.
