British SAS in North Africa, 1:35 is a resin set of figures of members of the British SAS from Black Dog.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of figures of members of the British SAS special unit in the setting of North Africa during the Second World War, in 1:35 scale, from the Czech maker Black Dog. It is an aftermarket accessory for bringing dioramas and vehicles to life; the figures are supplied unglued and unpainted and are meant for more experienced modelers.
The British SAS, the Special Air Service, became famous during the war in North Africa for deep raids against enemy airfields and supply lines, often from modified cross-country vehicles. In the desert the soldiers wore lightened kit adapted to the heat and to long moves, which makes them a striking and attractive motif for desert scenes.
Wash the parts free of mold release, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Once a primer is on, sand and khaki shades suit well; finish the dust and the weathering with pigments and a wash.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin set. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
