This is a 3D-printed resin set of small accessories in 1:35 scale, not a model in its own right. It holds faithfully rendered British tank helmets of the kind worn by the crews of armored vehicles. The parts will serve to enrich the interior of a fighting vehicle, to place on the hull or the armor, or in a diorama with figures.
British tank helmets were used in the Second World War by the men of armored units. They were meant to protect the crew's heads in the cramped space of a vehicle and differed in shape from infantry helmets. It is details like these that make a scene believable.
First wash any mold release residue off the parts and separate them carefully from the casting blocks. Resin sands and drills well; before removing the supports you can dip it briefly in hot water, when it softens slightly and chips less. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a base coat of primer and then shading and weathering with the usual modeling paints.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
