British two-pounder ammunition boxes 1:35 from PANZER ART: resin castings of sheet-metal boxes for a diorama. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set in 1:35 scale represents British steel ammunition boxes for the two-pounder anti-tank gun. It is an accessory for a scene and for a finished model, not a kit. The castings have raised catches, hinges and lid stiffeners, so they will take a close look even in an open arrangement at a gun position.
The two-pounder anti-tank gun was the basic British anti-tank weapon at the start of the Second World War and also served as the armament of armored cars and tanks. Rounds were carried to it in steel boxes of a uniform pattern with a firm lid and handles, so that they would survive transport by sea and across the desert. Boxes like these can also be used as general material around a store or a firing position.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the mold release agent disappears. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw and true the surface, and sand with respiratory protection. Resin is bonded with super glue, that is, with cyanoacrylate. After priming, lay down the base shade, lighten the edges carefully and let a dark seeping coat into the pressings. Marks from handling are done by stippling with a sponge, but use it sparingly, or the box will look more like a wreck.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
