Roof tiles - beaver-tail 1:35 is a resin accessory from the Czech maker Firma49 for faithful roofing of buildings in a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
This 3D-printed resin accessory represents beaver-tail roofing in 1:35 scale: plain clay tiles with a rounded lower edge that recalls a beaver's tail, typical of the historic and rural buildings of central Europe. It is not a model but a building element for making and detailing the roofs of buildings in a diorama.
You will use the roofing when building houses, barns and farm buildings or for repairing and sharpening up existing roofs. Laying the tiles in regular courses gives a roof a realistic texture on which painting and weathering show splendidly.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the casting blocks; do the sanding with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or a suitable modeling adhesive for resin. Begin painting with a primer, then combine brick and earth tones; fine washes and pigments complete the moss and the weathering. Weathering the roof is the key to a faithful impression.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
