This is a modeling accessory in 1:35 scale, not a model of a vehicle. The package holds a sheet of fine textile netting in a sand shade measuring roughly 16x23 cm. The net is cut to size and is used to cover the hull and the turret of a vehicle, to camouflage positions, bunkers, supplies or terrain elements on a diorama. The material is soft, holds the shape of a fold and does not look oversized on a model.

Use

• Cut the sheet to the shape and size you need with ordinary scissors.
• The net can be used straight away in the sand shade supplied, or it can be tinted with an acrylic or an enamel to the tone of the surrounding vehicles.
• Fix it to the model at points with thinned PVA glue or cyanoacrylate, so that the overhangs and folds stay loose.
• You get a natural drape by dampening it and working it with tweezers until the fixing dries.
• Finally, even the look out with a wash or with pigments, so that the net matches the dust on the rest of the model.

Who the accessory is for

It suits builders of military vehicles and dioramas in 1:35 scale who want to bring a model to life with a textile element and break up the uniform surfaces of the hull. The sand shade is suited to a desert and dry setting, but after tinting it will serve elsewhere as well. Working with the net is undemanding and even a less experienced modeler will manage it.

The accessory is supplied as a material to be worked, is not part of any model and has no color scheme of its own. Glues and paints are not included in the package.
