1:35 CAMOUFLAGE NET PERSONALIZED WHITE TYPE1

Camouflage net 1:35, white — AK Interactive

An accessory for models and dioramas in 1:35 scale, not a kit. The package holds a sheet of fine fabric netting in white, that is a neutral form, roughly 16 x 23 cm in size. The white variant has two uses: it is either used directly as winter camouflage for a vehicle, or it serves as a neutral base that the modeler colors to any shade required.

Use

• Cut the sheet to the shape needed with scissors; the net adapts well to the shape of both the hull and the turret.
• For a winter scheme use the net straight away, just dirtying it lightly with a wash or pigments so that it does not look new.
• For another setting, paint the net with acrylic or enamel, ideally thinned and sprayed with an airbrush, so that it stays soft.
• Fix it in spots with thin PVA glue or with cyanoacrylate, so that free overhangs remain.
• Model the folds with tweezers while the fixing is still wet, and finally bring the look together with the surroundings of the model.

Who the accessory is for

It suits builders of military vehicles and dioramas in 1:35 scale, especially for winter scenes, and anyone who wants full control over the shade of the net and colors it themselves. The work is undemanding and even a modeler with no previous experience of fabric accessories will manage it.

The accessory is supplied as a material to be worked, not as a model. Paints and glues are not included in the package.
