Not every scene uses up a whole supply of one motif. A display case with a single vehicle, a street corner or a small vignette needs only a handful of different boxes, and that is exactly what this item is about: it carries a total of 32 boxes in eighteen patterns, printed together on one sheet. Instead of five identical parcels you therefore get a cross-section of the whole range, and the scene does not look as if everything in it had arrived from one warehouse.
Eighteen patterns means that the motifs are repeated on the sheet only in small numbers. Plan in advance where each box will go, and only then reach for the scalpel. It pays to cut along the outer line, the folds need only be marked with a blunt point, and glue with a thin layer of PVA; super glue soaks through the paper and leaves a shiny stain.
A smaller quantity tempts you to build a tidy pyramid out of the boxes. Irregularity gives a better result: one box leaning against a wall, a second trodden flat, a third with its lid flipped open. The color printing can then be unified with a light breath of gray or pigment in the corners. For a display case with a single vehicle or for a small vignette this extent is just right; for a large transfer depot the bulkier counterpart is the better choice.
