Eduard masks CH-47A/D Chinook 1:35 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for the model of the American CH-47 Chinook transport helicopter. It gives sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:35 scale is meant for the plastic model of the American CH-47 Chinook heavy transport helicopter in the A and D versions. It is neither a kit nor a model of its own but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The CH-47 Chinook is an American heavy transport helicopter with two rotors in tandem. It entered service in the 1960s and in modernized versions still flies today. It carries troops, vehicles and slung loads and is valued for its payload and its range. The A version represents early production, the D version a later modernization with more powerful engines and better avionics.
Degrease the glazing of the cockpit and of the side windows carefully. Lift the individual masks off the backing and lay them on the frames, working from one corner on large areas so that no bubbles form. Tune the transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in two thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
