Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Master Box, from the range devoted to the Vietnam War. The set contains five figures - three American soldiers (the crew of an off-road vehicle) and two Viet Cong - captured in a dynamic combat scene. The figures are supplied on sprues and have to be glued and painted.
The scene refers to the Vietnam War, where American units often operated from off-road vehicles and found themselves in sudden clashes with Viet Cong guerrillas. Charlie was the slang term American soldiers used for the Viet Cong. The set captures a typical moment of an ambush, when the crew of a vehicle reacts to an enemy at its side. It is a factual rendering of a combat situation of the period.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean up the mold seams and the sprue attachments. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Paint the uniforms and camouflage with acrylics and bring out the breakup of the cloth with a wash and drybrushing. Build the faces up in thinned layers. A final matte varnish unifies the surface of tropical uniforms.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
