This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard serves to refine and complete the detail of a plastic model of the light military vehicle Commando car in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit but a set of photo-etched parts. The metal parts replace coarser plastic features and add fine detail to the exterior and the equipment.
The name Commando car refers to a light, stripped-down reconnaissance and raiding vehicle used by special units. It was usually relieved of unnecessary weight and fitted with additional armament and equipment for operations in the desert and behind enemy lines. Photo-etched detail comes out well precisely on the open structure of such a vehicle.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the metal surfaces before painting and prime them. Apply weathering and dust effects only to the finished vehicle.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a vehicle model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
