This is a resin diorama accessory in 1:35 scale. It is neither a model of a vehicle nor a kit but a separate piece of scenery, a large concrete barrier of the kind that can be placed in military and civilian dioramas alike, at the edges of roads, by checkpoints or in urban scenes.
Concrete barriers are among the typical features of fortified positions, crossings and checkpoints. They serve for channeling traffic and as protection against vehicles driving through. They have turned up in the most varied conflicts through the 20th century and still today, and in civilian settings as well, which makes them a universal accessory for a scene.
Wash the resin part free of release agent and cut off any casting block. Begin painting with a gray base, bring the concrete surface to life with light shades from a dry brush, damp patches, dust pigments and hints of rust at the reinforcement. Cracks and wear will raise the realism.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
