Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet with markings for the T-34/85 medium tank in the service of the Croatian army. It is the third part of the Cro-Army line, which concentrates on the hardware used in Croatia, and purely from the point of view of modeling markings. The set is not a kit and not a plastic accessory; it holds markings for a model that is already built and painted. The 1:35 scale matches the ordinary range of T-34/85 kits, so the sheet follows on from a model that most builders of hardware have to hand.
The T-34/85 is a late development stage of the Soviet medium tank, recognizable by its larger three-man turret with an 85 mm gun. After the Second World War the vehicle was also built under license and in the armies of a whole range of states it lasted in service for a very long time, so it appears in contexts considerably later than those it was designed for. The markings on these vehicles tend to be modest and inconsistent, because they came about in field conditions right at the units.
The turret of the T-34/85 has a rough cast surface on which markings will not seat by themselves. It pays to even the area under the decal out with gloss varnish in advance and to go by the manufacturer's instructions while applying. Measure smaller markings placed across a weld or an edge in advance, so that they do not end up crooked once they have dried. A final matte clear coat will remove the difference in sheen and prepare the surface for weathering.
