Crusher Joe is a Japanese science fiction setting which, alongside its book and animated form, has also been given plastic models. The real subject of this kit is the machine designated the Gelleon. The OVA Version qualifier in the name tells the configuration according to the animated treatment apart from an earlier issue of the same subject, so the shapes and the details may differ between the issues.

What the kit contains

This is a plastic kit in 1:35 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and for the build you need a knife or nippers, a file, a cement for plastic models and paints. Building and painting tips

Try the parts dry first, so that you know in what order the whole closes up and what will no longer come under the brush once it is glued. Paint the inner spaces and the contact surfaces, therefore, before the assembly covers them. Sand the production marks down, so that they are not visible under the paint. Apply the color in thin coats. On a science fiction subject you are not bound by a historical original, so you can choose the color scheme, the wear and any lettering according to your own idea or according to the animated treatment.
