A figure of an officer of a Czechoslovak dragoon regiment as he appeared in 1936, in 1:35 scale. Intended for dioramas of the interwar period.
Responsibility details are not available.
Dragoon regiments belonged to the cavalry of the Czechoslovak army of the First Republic. The figure represents an officer of such a regiment as he appeared in 1936 and suits scenes from the second half of the 1930s, whether they are set in barracks, on a training ground or at a parade.
1:35 is the most widespread scale for military vehicles, so the figure will fit among the vehicles, guns and buildings in the same scale. An adult figure in it stands around five centimeters tall. That is a size at which the gear is still clearly legible and at the same time the figure will not get lost even on a larger diorama.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder away. Wash and degrease the surface before painting, otherwise paint holds badly on the smooth material. The uniform is best built up from a base tone toward brightened edges, leaving the shadows in the folds. The small items of gear come out best if you finish them with a thin brush at the very end. The manufacturer's instructions give the assembly procedure.
It is for builders of interwar dioramas and for collectors of figures in 1:35 scale. Paints, glue and a base are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
