Afrika Korps tanker with a chameleon is a resin figure in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART, capturing a German tanker in the desert with a chameleon on his hand.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single resin figure of a German tanker of the Afrika Korps (DAK) in 1:35 scale from the PANZER ART range. What makes the figure special is the chameleon on the soldier's hand, which gives it a striking genre detail. The package contains cast resin parts without paints and glue.
The German Afrika Korps operated in the North African desert in tropical dress, and its tank crews wore lighter versions of the uniform adapted to the heat. The motif of a soldier watching a chameleon points to the quiet moments between actions and to the desert wildlife the crews came across. The figure is a rewarding standalone piece as well as a way of bringing a diorama to life.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and fit them together. Glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), do the sanding with respiratory protection and apply a primer. Paint the tropical dress in sand and olive tones with pronounced highlighting; use the chameleon as a small accent of color on which you can show off subtle transitions of shade.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
