A water-slide decal sheet in 1:35 scale from the Hungarian maker HAD models. It brings the markings of the BTR-60 wheeled armored personnel carrier in the service of three armies: the Czechoslovak, the East German (GDR) and the Hungarian one. It is an accessory to a model, not a kit; the sheet holds national insignia, tactical numbers and other national markings for several versions.
The BTR-60 is a Soviet eight-wheeled amphibious armored personnel carrier brought into service at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. It served to carry infantry and, in many derived versions (command, signals), with the armies of the Warsaw Pact. It was powered by a pair of gasoline engines and moved through water with a water jet.
Lay the decals on a smooth gloss coat, which keeps the edges from going matte. Once dry, it is worth unifying the surface with a matte varnish. A decal softener helps them settle into engraved detail and onto broken-up surfaces.
