Tips for placing it in the scene

Lanterns have a rhythm in a scene. When you set up several, keep the same spacing between them and the same angle of the arms, because irregularity looks disorderly. A strong effect comes from contrast: an undamaged lantern next to a demolished facade tells more than a whole row of debris. If you are working with lighting the scene from inside, allow for the cable run already at the design stage of the diorama base, so that it is not visible in the finished scene.
