French Kieffer commando on the march No. 9 (1:35) is a resin figure of a marching soldier of the Free French commandos from the time of the Normandy landings. It calls for assembly and painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A separate resin figure in 1:35 scale from the French brand Dynamo-Models portraying a member of the Free French commandos in a marching stance. The model is digitally sculpted and cast in quality resin, with a well-worked uniform and equipment. The package contains one unglued and unpainted figure, and in this range alternative heads are usually available.
Kieffer's commandos were French volunteers incorporated into No. 4 Commando who on 6 June 1944 landed on Sword Beach as the only French ground unit. They wore British battledress uniform and infantry equipment and became a symbol of the French share in the liberation of Europe.
Before building, wash the mold release agent residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks off carefully and glue the joints with super glue. Wear a respirator while sanding. The uniform is best picked out with an airbrush, washes and dry brushes; when painting the face, choose a gradual layering of skin tones.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
