Figures of the crew of a modern French tank in 1:35 scale. A crew is the most rewarding accessory of all for an armored vehicle model: a figure in a turret hatch breaks the emptiness of a large hull, gives the model scale and determines where the viewer looks first. The number 2 tells this item apart within the line.
These are accessory figures for hardware in the same scale, not a scene of their own. Crew figures tend to be built so that they can be seated in a hatch, so before gluing it pays to try them dry in the opening of the particular model and to adjust the length of the torso if need be. It is worth doing that before painting, because sanding a finished coat means extra work.
Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue to match the material of the parts: liquid modeling cement for polystyrene, cyanoacrylate for parts of other materials. Paint the figure separately first and glue it into the hatch only at the end, otherwise a brush will not reach the lower part of the uniform. The assembly procedure is described in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
