A colored 3D printed set in 1:35 scale meant for fitting out the interior and the instruments of models of the Soviet GAZ-66 series truck. The parts are printed in raised relief on a backing decal paper and look like real panels, instruments and controls.

Contents and use

The set holds three-dimensionally shaped and fully colored parts of the cab with the gauges, switches and labels drawn out. They have no adhesive layer of their own: the part is cut out, dipped in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the paper onto a surface coated with gloss varnish.

Application tips

• Clean and degrease the surface before applying and coat it with gloss varnish (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22).
• Dip the part briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing paper into place.
• Press it down to make it follow the shape; on a part with relief a drop of cyanoacrylate helps. Do not use a decal softener, as it attacks the print.
