Gefreiter 1917 (1:35) is a Black Dog resin figure depicting a German soldier of the First World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale from the Czech brand Black Dog. It represents a German lance corporal (Gefreiter) of 1917, that is from the setting of the trench warfare of the First World War. The figure is meant to bring dioramas of this period to life.
The year 1917 was one of the peaks of trench warfare on the Western Front. German infantry wore characteristic field uniforms and helmets and used hand grenades in close combat. A period-faithful figure therefore completes scenes of trenches, fortifications and First World War battlefields naturally.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with your airways protected. Glue the figure with cyanoacrylate glue and fill the gaps with putty. Once the base coat is on, work it up with acrylics or oils; a trench warfare scene suits muted field tones and mud and dust effects.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
