German Fallschirmjager Rests No.2 is the second resting pose of a German paratrooper in 1:35 from the figure range of the brand PANZER ART.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second variant of a resting pose from the group that the brand PANZER ART has prepared for 1:35 scale. The maker classes it among figures, and it serves as an accessory for finished scenes; it is not a kit of a vehicle or an aircraft. The distinction No.2 denotes a variant of the stance, and nothing more can be read from it. It is sold separately, even though it is plainly designed as the counterpart of the first pose.
The point of two separately sold poses is simple: two figures that visually communicate with one another turn randomly placed figures into a scene. One leans, the other sits, their eyes meet - and the viewer imagines a conversation between them. Anyone building a scene with a pause during a move gains with this piece the missing half of the pair.
So that the pair looks like a single whole, mix the shades of the uniforms from a common supply and leave only small differences in the degree of wear between them. Set the skin apart more markedly on the contrary: a different undertone of the face will prevent the impression that they are twins. Apply the dust and the mud at the same level on both figures, because they stand in the same terrain. A final matte varnish will unify the surface and hide the differences between paints of different ranges.
