A set of injection-molded plastic figures, German front-line infantrymen, in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The package holds five figures of Wehrmacht infantry of the late period of the Second World War in dynamic combat poses. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set is among the first Tamiya figure sets with infantry in the camouflage uniforms of the late war period. The figures are in action poses: an NCO and a soldier attacking with a Panzerfaust and an assault rifle, a gunner firing an MG42 machine gun from the hip, a soldier throwing a grenade and another NCO firing an assault rifle from a kneeling position. The equipment and the weapons have finely worked-out detail.
Glue the figures with cement for plastic and clean up and fill the joins. Lay down a base coat of primer before painting, and build the uniforms from base tones through shading with a wash to highlighting the edges with a dry brush. The camouflage patterns can be painted by hand with a brush or with an airbrush using stencils; finish the faces with a brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
