A set of injection-molded plastic figures, German Tank Crew, Kursk 1943, in 1:35 scale from Master Box. The box contains five figures of German tankmen, among them two wounded men and an officer with a grenade. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The scene is tied to the tank battle of Kursk in the summer of 1943. Unlike the Soviet version it captures the crew of a German armored unit - figures in tank overalls and caps, complemented by a scene of caring for the wounded and a commander with a grenade. The set thus offers a narrative, factually conceived scene suited to enlivening a diorama, without glorifying combat.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and clean up the joints. For figures, primer, layering of colors, a wash into the folds and edge highlighting with a dry brush all work well; finish the faces and the kit with a brush. The set goes well with a model of a German tank - it will give the scene both scale and a story.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
