A figure of a German tanker in winter clothing in 1:35, variant number two within the line.
Responsibility details are not available.
For a winter campaign the crews of German armor were issued clothing that differed a good deal from the ordinary service uniform: quilted trousers, high boots and layering in which several hours in a cold fighting compartment could be survived. It is exactly such a soldier that the figure captures. The number two in the name tells the individual poses apart within a line in which, alongside single figures, sets can be found as well.
It is a figure in 1:35, that is in the same size as most kits of armored equipment. It is made to be painted and to be set beside a vehicle model or into a diorama. The number of parts the figure is made up of and the recommended order of assembly are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Before painting, wash and degrease the figure, or the paint will not hold on the surface. Cut the excess material and the traces of production off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder down carefully. Apply the base in a thin coat, so that the relief of the folds is not lost. Set the face and the hands out sculpturally, that is from a darker shade in the shadows to a lighter one on the raised places, and leave the winter clothing rather faded than in saturated colors.
For builders of dioramas of winter fighting and for anyone who wants to give a finished model scale and action. The paints, the glue and a vehicle model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
