1:35 House base is a diorama base from Black Dog with a house motif, prepared for models and figures in 1:35 size.
Responsibility details are not available.
The 1:35 House base from Black Dog is a finished piece of terrain with a house built on it, onto which finished hardware and standing figures are placed. It therefore belongs among diorama accessories, not among kits of machines. According to the name, it is intended for 1:35 size.
The house works in the scene as a fixed point that the composition leans on. A vehicle or a figure is placed in front of it or tucked round the corner, and at once there is a sense that the scene continues beyond the board. The building also hides part of the background, which is a great advantage when photographing finished work, because the eye does not wander off to the edges of the display case.
Masonry calls for patience with shades: every brick or stone should have a different saturation so that the surface does not look painted flat. A thinned brown glaze that you partly wipe off once it has dried will help. Lighten the plaster with a dry brush and darken the lower areas with dust from the ground. Fill in the terrain around the building with static grass, fine gravel and sparse weeds so that the transition to the edge of the board does not look cut off. Finally level and unify the edges themselves so that the scene has a clean outline even when seen from the side.
