The links are joined by pins into holes and the resulting track is workable; the assembly is designed to be quick, without any need for glue.
Hush Puppie type tracks with rubber-padded shoes were used on British main battle tanks of the Cold War. The rubber pads damped the noise and protected the road surface during moves along paved roads.
Separate the links from the sprues and clean up the marks left by the sprue gates. Spray the assembled track with primer, suggest the metal surfaces with a dry brush and set the rubber shoes apart with a darker shade. You will complete dried mud and dust with washes and pigments.
The set holds only the tracks, not a model of the vehicle. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
