Jílovitá zem

Jilovita zem (Clay Earth) - a liquid pigment from Sira Hobby

Jilovita zem is a liquid weathering pigment from the Czech maker Sira Hobby in an ocher-brown, clay shade. Once dry it fixes itself to the surface of the model, so it calls for no further fixative. It is water-thinnable and its intensity can be regulated by thinning or thickening it.

Use

• Deposits of clay soil and dried-on mud on chassis, tracks and fenders.
• Earthy soiling of the lower areas of equipment in clay and loam terrain.
• Filling corners and folds with soil for the impression of picked-up mud.
• It is applied with a brush onto a surface dampened with water and a drop of detergent; thickening it allows coarser deposits to be made.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to render muddying and clay deposits realistically on military and civilian equipment. Suitable for beginners and experienced modelers alike.

A water-thinnable product without smell. Keep out of the reach of children, do not drink it and avoid getting it in the eyes; when sanding dried pigment, do not breathe in the dust that arises.
