Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is meant for a plastic model of the British Sea Vixen FAW.2 carrier fighter. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without slow hand-cutting of tape.
The de Havilland Sea Vixen is a British twin-engine carrier fighter from the Cold War era with a characteristic twin-boom layout and an offset pilot's cockpit. The FAW.2 version is the updated variant with a greater fuel load and extended armament. It served with British naval aviation as an all-weather fighter operating from the decks of aircraft carriers.
Degrease the glazing of the canopy and the windscreen. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the frames, press them into the edges and fill small cutouts with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin layers. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at an acute angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
