Master Box 1:35 Indian Wars, 18th century, Fair Exchange is a plastic set of three figures from colonial America.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Master Box belongs to the range devoted to the Indian Wars of the 18th century. The package contains parts for three figures with a calm, story-telling scene of a trading exchange. The set is intended for dioramas as well as for display on its own and offers an unusual historical subject outside the ordinary war scenes.
The scene captures a meeting by a fort, where a native inhabitant comes to establish trade relations with settlers. The trio consists of a Native American, a British soldier and a frontiersman, and their poses and equipment are based on the North American frontier of the 18th century, where British, French and native interests met. The composition tells the story of a fair exchange, which makes the figures a rewarding basis for an atmospheric diorama.
Clean the parts of flash and join them with thin modeling cement for plastic. Apply a filler primer before painting; the period clothing offers a varied palette of natural tones, of leather and textile. The faces and the detail of the clothing come out well with glazes and fine washes.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
