The Kfz-15 was a Mittlerer Geländegängiger Personenkraftwagen, that is a medium cross-country passenger car, built on a standardized chassis of the Horch type. The Wehrmacht used it as a liaison, staff and command vehicle as well as a carrier for a radio set. The car with drive to all wheels served from the prewar years and was used on all fronts; it coped well with cross-country running that ordinary passenger cars could not manage. It is a typical representative of German standardized automotive equipment of the first half of the war.
We recommend building and painting the chassis, the running gear and the interior of the cabin first, and only then closing up the body. Glue the plastic with a liquid cement for polystyrene; with an older mold count on a more careful cleanup of the mold seams and on filling the joints where needed. Before painting, spray a primer, which reveals the scratches left by sanding. For German vehicles the base shades panzergrau or the later dunkelgelb suit well; you create the weathering with washes into the recesses and with pigments for dusty and muddy effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
