A photo-etched scenic accessory for building dioramas in 1:35 scale from the maker Eduard. This is not a kit of equipment but a set of fine brass fern leaves, which will bring the vegetation on a base or in a scene to life. The fret holds sprigs and individual leaves in a realistic shape; the modeler bends them into three dimensions and finishes them with paint as needed.

Use

• creating undergrowth, the edges of paths and corners in a natural scene

Work tips

Separate the leaves carefully from the fret and shape them into a natural three-dimensional form. For good adhesion of the paint use a primer and then matte acrylic paints in shades of green; final differences in tone will give the leaves depth. Super glue suits for fixing them into the scene.
