The detail set brings faithful rounds of 21 cm caliber for the heavy Mörser 18 howitzer. It is not a kit of the gun but an accessory with which you will bring an ammunition position, a crew at the carriage or a diorama with artillery to life. The parts carry fine relief on the shell as well as the case.
The 21 cm Mörser 18 was a heavy howitzer of the period of the Second World War, deployed for fire support at long range and for destroying fortifications. It used separate-loading ammunition, with the shell and the propellant charge loaded separately.
Carefully separate the parts from the casting blocks, clean them up and wash any mold release agent off them before painting. Glue them with cyanoacrylate. The driving bands and the steel body of the shell will come out after washes have been applied and accentuation with drybrushing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
