A resin, 3D printed set of chassis road wheels for the West German main battle tank Leopard 1. This is not a tank kit but replacement wheels, which take the place of the plastic parts from the base kit with a sharper and seamless rendering.
The wheels bring a faithful lightening relief, a fine edge to the rubber tire and the detail of the hubs. 3D printing guarantees a clean rendering with no parting lines, so the filling and sanding of seams typical of multi-part plastic wheels falls away.
Wash the parts free of uncured print resin residue, separate them from the print supports and sand them lightly with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the rubber tires a dark matte color, the metal parts in the base color of the vehicle, and add dust and mud on the running surface.
Supplied as an unpainted set of resin parts; the tank model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
