A resin set of replacement wheels in 1:35 scale from DEF Model. The wheels are cast with a realistic bulge of the tire where it meets the road, so that the vehicle looks naturally loaded. The rendering matches the G90 type off-road tires of the British Land Rover Defender XD Wolf in the W.M.I.K version. The set is made for the Hobby Boss kit in 1:35 scale.
The Land Rover Defender XD Wolf is a British army off-road vehicle. The W.M.I.K version, that is, the one with the weapons mount installation kit, served as a light armed carrier in the desert and off the road. The coarse off-road tread of the tires and their bulge under load are among the characteristic features of the vehicle.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit them so that the bulged part of the tire rests on the base. Painting and patina with dust and mud effects will complete the look.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone kit of the vehicle. It is supplied unpainted, without paints or glue.
