This is a set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard, not a model in itself. The set adds a mounted external rack and a system of tie-down straps to the kit of the Stryker M-1130 CV wheeled command vehicle, used to lash additional equipment, bags and supplies to the hull.
The thin metal parts replace the coarser plastic elements from the kit and add details that are hard to mold by injection in 1:35 scale. The result is a more faithful surface for the fighting vehicle with hanging straps and racks, just as we see them in photographs of vehicles in the field.
Cut the parts carefully from the fret and make the bends on a photo-etch bender or over a metal ruler. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with five-minute epoxy resin. Degrease before filling and painting. The straps look natural when you bend them slightly into the real shape taken under load.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
