A resin set of six opened M1 ammunition boxes for the American .30 caliber Browning M1919 machine gun in 1:35 scale from MASTER. It is a detailing and diorama accessory, not a kit. The box combines cast and 3D-printed resin and also holds a decal with period markings for the boxes.
Opened boxes with a visible interior suit a machine gun position, the cargo bed of a vehicle or a scattered load in a diorama; they suggest a fight in progress or ammunition being replenished. The M1 ammunition boxes were in use from the Second World War and lasted into the 1950s.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a realistic look, lay on a metal base color, add the decal with the markings and weather the boxes with rust and wear.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
