A set of resin replacement wheels from PANZER ART in 1:35 scale with a tread of the Firestone type, intended for the American trucks of the M35 range and for the M109 shop and signal van on the same chassis. It is not a kit but a detail accessory. The resin casting brings a sharp off-road tread and clean detail on the rim; the wheels tend to be made with a suggestion of load for a faithful settling on the road.
The American M35 was among the most widespread trucks of the postwar US Army and it served in many variants for decades. A number of purpose-built bodies grew up on its chassis, the M109 shop and signal van among them. Prominent off-road wheels set the character of the whole family of these vehicles.
Wash the parts free of release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife and sand the mating surfaces of the hub. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding resin. The tires come out in a matte rubber color, while a dry brush and a fine dusting with pigments bring the tread out.
The accessory does not hold the model itself, the glue or the paints. It is intended for completing a kit you already have.
