The Mercedes-Benz Wolf is a German light cross-country vehicle derived from the civilian G range. The Bundeswehr uses it to carry personnel and supplies, for liaison duties and in a whole range of other roles, and in many body styles. On overseas missions the vehicles differ from those in home garrisons through the accessories that units hung on them.
That difference is exactly what this set addresses. Accessories spread over the vehicle and on its racks turn a model from factory-clean into the state in which the machines really drove: baggage, supplies and the crew's personal belongings fill the empty surfaces and give the whole thing a sense of scale. The set therefore suits a model displayed on its own just as well as the basis of a diorama composition.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before gluing, rinse them and let them dry so that the primer will hold. Cut the excess material and the marks left by production off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand what remains. Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) is a safe choice, because it holds on resin and on plastic. The simplest way is to paint the parts separately before fitting them: spray the primer, paint the individual pieces, unify the whole with a light dark wash and pick out the edges with a dry brush. Add dust in a lighter shade only at the end, so that it matches the vehicle.
The set is meant for modelers who are building a model of modern German equipment and want to give it a working look without the labor of making their own accessories. It calls for no special experience; care when cleaning up small parts is enough. The exact contents, the piece counts and the recommended procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
