MG-42 German machine gun 1:35 is a multimedia replica of the weapon: a turned brass barrel, a 3D-printed cooling jacket and resin and photo-etched parts for building the whole machine gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed multimedia set from the Polish company MASTER for building a faithful replica of the German 7.92 mm MG-42 machine gun in 1:35 scale. It is not a resin kit in the usual sense: the basis is a turned brass barrel, to which belong a 3D-printed perforated cooling jacket and additional resin and photo-etched parts. Once assembled you have a complete machine gun suitable as an accessory for figures, vehicles or dioramas.
The MG-42 was the general purpose machine gun of the German army in the Second World War, famous for its extremely high rate of fire and its characteristic sound. Its recognition features are the perforated cooling jacket around the barrel and the folding bipod. It served as a light as well as a heavy machine gun and became the model for postwar designs.
Clean the metal and resin parts of casting remnants and degrease them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your airways when sanding. The combination of brass, 3D printing and photo-etch calls for careful fitting; a primer and a fine shading of the metal areas will help.
This is a detail set, not a complete vehicle model. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
