Front wheels with a flat tire for the late Opel Blitz, the type 1 rendition, 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Replacement wheels for the steered axle in deformed form, cut to vehicles from the late production period. The flat tire settles onto the rim and the sidewall bulges, so on the model the vehicle plainly does not stand on fully inflated wheels.
Toward the end of the war manufacture was simplified wherever it could be. Trucks received a cab of wood and pressed paperboard instead of sheet metal, chrome-plated details disappeared and savings were made on everything that was not essential. Anyone building a machine from the last months of the fighting should adapt the wheels to that state too, because tires were made of substitute compounds at the time and behaved differently.
For modelers who build equipment from the last period of the war, and for makers of scenes with vehicles out of service at the roadside. It also serves well where a scene is to suggest a shortage of spare parts.
On a truck the steered axle wears differently from the driven one. Tires on it suffer at the edges rather than at the center of the tread, because they are scuffed in turns and when running onto the verge. On a model that can be suggested by concentrating the wear toward the sidewalls of the tire rather than in the middle.
The package contains the wheels alone, and the kit of the vehicle has to be obtained separately.
