Masking stencils for spraying Israeli markings onto the Puma heavy armored vehicle in 1:35 scale. Cut for the Legend, Trumpeter and Hobby Boss kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Puma is an Israeli heavy armored vehicle built on the hull of the Centurion tank. It came out of the same reasoning as the other Israeli conversions: the hull of a retired tank has armor a light carrier will never have, and so it suits the places where you drive into fire. The vehicle serves with the engineer corps and carries engineer equipment, so plenty of handholds, brackets and add-on plates are to be found on it. It is usually classed as a heavy carrier, although the core of its work lies in engineer tasks.
Cut stencils for spraying Israeli unit markings in 1:35 scale, cut for the kits from Legend, Trumpeter and Hobby Boss. The markings are thus created directly in the color of the surface and no decal has to be stuck over a rivet, a weld or the edge of a bracket.
The base must be perfectly dry and degreased. Offer the stencil up, press the edges down and apply the paint in several thin coats; on the busy surface of the Puma that matters more than elsewhere, because paint likes to get under the edge around the brackets. Take the stencil off as soon as the paint has flashed off. Engineer vehicles in the field are usually coated in dust, so feel free to knock the finished markings back, so that they do not look as if they came from a parade.
For builders of modern Israeli vehicles in 1:35 scale and for dioramas with engineer vehicles. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
