Pz.Kpfw. IV On-Vehicle Equipment Set 1:35 from Tamiya is an injection-molded set of equipment and tools with which you dress up a model of the German tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an add-on set, not a tank kit. On the injection-molded sprue you will find the equipment and tools that were stowed on fighting vehicles on the fenders, the hull and the turret. The set is intended mainly for models of the German Panzer IV tanks, but many of the parts will serve on other German vehicles of the period as well.
It typically includes a tool set (a shovel, an axe, cutting and prying tools), jacks, a jack mount, a gun cleaning rod, a fire extinguisher, spare track links and a tensioner, headlights and an anti-aircraft machine gun. The parts extend the original equipment of the kit and add to its credibility.
The parts are of hardened polystyrene and are glued with ordinary thin modeling plastic cement. The tools come into their own when the metal parts and the wooden handles are set apart in color and refined with a wash and dry-brushing. The stowed pieces look realistic once they are partly weathered with the same dust and mud as the vehicle.
An add-on set of parts. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted and does not make up a model in itself. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
