This is a resin detail accessory, not a kit. The part replaces the pilot's headrest in the cockpit of the early version of the Vought F4U-1 Corsair fighter with its characteristic framed canopy, nicknamed the birdcage, in 1:72 scale. The fine casting captures the shape of the headrest and its mounting more accurately than production plastic.
Carefully separate the part from the casting block, clean it and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Given how small the part is, we recommend tweezers; once it has been finished, bring the headrest out with light shading.
It is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted; the basic model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
