It is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory fitted to a model of the same subject at this scale that you already own. The photo-etched parts replace plastic shapes that cannot be made thin enough by injection molding, typically grilles, grab handles and small fittings. The exact parts list is given in the instructions supplied with the set.
French-built armored cars of 1914 belong to the early generation of fighting vehicles of the First World War. They came about by building an armored body onto a production truck chassis and were used chiefly for reconnaissance and for supporting mounted units in the period when the front was not yet settled. It is these early designs that have a great many riveted joints and small grab handles, on which photo-etched metal shows the most.
Cut the photo-etched parts off the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface first; never snap them off. Make the bends over a metal ruler or in a bending tool, so that the edges are crisp and straight. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, which you should apply with a wire or a stick in the smallest possible amount; any excess dries to a white haze. Degrease the metal before painting and use a primer made for metal, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. If the set replaces a plastic part, cut the original away and level the area before you offer the photo-etch up.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
